Article Marketing and the knocks we can take are pretty hard hits much of the time. I think it can be one of the most frustrating jobs there are. It does have its rewards but almost any job does. It can help if you actually enjoy writing. It can help a lot.
Article Marketing, I am beginning to suspect, is much easier for those people who are *not writers*. It is extremely difficult regardless. I just do not think that having a way with words makes it any easier. I do know that people that are not at all that familiar with any of it, are actually under the impression it is a piece of cake.
Oh how wrong they are. So wrong that I actually used the word Oh, something I rarely do.
There are so many pitfalls and Aha! Moments directly followed by those unrelenting ‘oh no’ revelations that come along with it. It seems no matter how much I smile to myself that I have figured something out I am more confounded by angry frowns that I am going to have to rework or rewrite EVERYTHING. This always means I am compelled to learn something new in order to keep up with the fast-paced internet world of “CHANGE”.
Sometimes after writing an entire days worth of work (8hours), I can find that it was all wrong or that there is no way it will work. Then I will have either to rework it or dispense of it all together. I think that the most frustrating thing is when you know it is some good work and then find out it is next to worthless as far as making any income from it.
Much of this can be attributed to trial and error. The mere fact that some of it is just plain unavoidable is enough to make you want to give up. The trial and error is just something that comes with the territory. When Google or some other huge machine changes and makes the whole of your work suddenly invalid that is when the steam can start to rise from the face of an unsuspecting, hard working, article marketing writer who poured his sweet sweat into his bargaining chip called words.
But hey, this stuff is easy right? I mean, all were doing is writing. How hard can it be? If they only knew about Article Marketing and the Knocks We Take.
